How Miziba is governed, paid and held to account.

A record is worth relying on only if its keeper has nothing to gain from what it says. This page sets out who owns Miziba, how it is paid, how the record is kept and what we do not yet claim.

Our role is fixed, and published.

Miziba’s role is narrow, and the limits on it are set out in the agreements it signs.

Miziba does

  • Checks who each business is, by people, not an algorithm
  • Weighs, seals, samples and photographs at the hub
  • Records every event, with who recorded it and when
  • Runs the rules the parties agreed: the payment order, the quality window, the retention
  • Instructs only the escrow releases the parties agreed before funding
  • Prepares the evidence a bank needs

Miziba never

  • Buys or sells commodity
  • Holds, lends or guarantees money
  • Takes custody of goods or title to them
  • Chooses, ranks, recommends or introduces counterparties
  • Judges quality: the aggregator states it, the buyer accepts it
  • Publishes prices, or takes commissions or a share of margin
  • Promises an outcome

Who owns Miziba, and the companies it is related to.

Common ownership is disclosed on every trade it touches. These rules keep it from becoming an advantage.

Common owner: Joel NtiAmoah Marfo, founder
Miziba Infrastructure Ltd
CS063650326

Runs the platform. Fee-only. Holds no trade money and never takes title.

Wholly owned by the founder.

Miziba Trade Facility Ltd
CS156900726

A finance partner, admitted on the same terms as any other.

Wholly owned by the founder.

JNI AGRI Ltd
CS090862019

An aggregator. Supplies raw commodity on the same terms as any aggregator.

Owned equally by the founder and JNI AGRI’s co-founder.

Three separate companies. No cross-shareholding and no holding company.

  • The link is disclosed in writing on every trade a related company touches
  • Related companies take part on the same terms, fees and rules as anyone else
  • JNI AGRI reads only its own part of a trade, never another supplier’s trades or prices
  • Miziba Trade Facility receives nothing another finance partner does not
  • Miziba never steers a trade towards a related company

How the record is kept.

Append-only

Every entry carries who recorded it and when. A correction is a new entry linked to the original. Nothing is edited or deleted.

Each party reads its own part

A buyer never sees the trader’s margin. A bank never sees another bank’s book.

Reports built from the record

Bank packs, settlement statements and reconciliations are generated from the record itself.

How Miziba is paid.

One schedule, whoever funds the trade. Fees are flat, per item or set on the recorded value, agreed before the trade, shown on your own billing page and always invoiced.

  • Never set on margin, award or outcome
  • Never deducted without an invoice
  • Where money is held in escrow, paid from it in third place, after the bank’s advance and fee
  • No commissions, rebates or share of margin

The rates are in the agreement each organisation signs. The price book in force is published on every organisation’s own Billing page, and a change is notified 30 days ahead. Miziba invoices its fees only there, and never asks for payment by message or call.

When something goes wrong.

Most disputes in commodity trade are about weight and quality after delivery. The record is built so both sides argue from the same facts.

StageWhat happens
Within seven days of deliveryThe buyer accepts the goods or objects in writing, with its evidence. Silence is acceptance.
If there is an objectionThe retention stays in escrow. Both sides see the objection and the evidence on the record.
ResolutionThe parties settle it under their own contract. Miziba records each step and does not decide who is right.
ReleaseThe retention is released as the parties instruct, in the fixed payment order.
