Finance the trade you can see.

A partner bank funds purchases against weights, seals and receipts recorded by people with no stake in the trade, reads every event in its own book, and is repaid first in a fixed order. Each credit decision is the bank’s alone.

What your credit committee reads, before it says yes and after.

On a financed trade, nothing is bought until you approve. From then on you read every event on the trade, in your own book.

  1. Before approval

The validated registration, the buyer’s identity check and tier, the specification and the documents. Nothing is bought until you approve.

  2. During the trade

The signed loading checklist, transit exceptions, the gate receipt and the quality decision.

  3. At settlement

The buyer’s payment, the fixed payment order and the reconciliation report, built from the record.

  4. Across the book

Exposure per trade, borrower, buyer, commodity and corridor, built from the record.

Controls a credit officer can test.

Each one is a rule in the platform that your team can test on a trade before the pilot.

Two officers sign every loading

Weight, count and seals, each signed separately. One officer cannot complete a loading alone.

Roles are separated

The officer who approves a trade cannot confirm its funding. Credit, operations and risk users are separate.

The payment order is fixed

Your advance, your fee, Miziba’s fees, then the trader. No setting can change it.

Concentration limits

20% of the book per buyer, 15% per trader, 50% per commodity and 40% per corridor, with your own limits on top.

The record is append-only

Every entry shows who recorded it and when. A correction is a new entry, never an edit.

Funds stay at the bank

The trader’s equity and your advance sit in escrow. Miziba instructs only the releases agreed before funding.

Where things stand.

The platform is built and in production. No commercial trade has settled on it yet. The first are scheduled to settle from October 2026. Each finance partner sees every event on the trades it funds.

Miziba Trade Facility Ltd, a finance partner under common ownership with Miziba Infrastructure Ltd, is admitted on the same terms as any other finance partner and receives nothing they do not.

Questions

Does Miziba guarantee repayment?

No. Miziba does not lend, guarantee or hold money. It provides the evidence, the controls and the settlement instructions. The credit risk and the credit decision are the bank’s.

Who is the borrower?

The independent trader, on every trade. Never Miziba Infrastructure, Miziba Trade Facility or JNI AGRI.

Can we use our own product name and pricing?

Yes. The bank brands and owns the product. Miziba’s fees are separate and sit below yours in the payment order.

How do we join?

By agreement. We set up separate credit, operations and risk users for your team, run a test trade with you, then agree the pilot.

Read the record before you lend against it.

Ask for the due diligence pack, or for a walk through a test trade with your credit and operations teams.
